Update: the customer service Representatives wanted to know what was wrong with the software that I needed a refund, so I told them the scan OCR is not functional. I just have to cross my fingers and hope they'll give me a refund out of the kindness of their hearts. There is no way to hold them accountable to a proper set of civilized laws.
